CHAMBERS OF DEATH

Chambers of Death consists of 3 megawads totalling 72 variants of the SAME LEVEL. This is really here for personal nostalgia and historical purposes. Frankly, none of my 90s wads are really worth playing. New title screens and a few other small improvements were made, including renaming Chambers of Death 3 from the subtitle "The Infinite Battle" to "Spiders From Mars."

These were doom 1 wads, because my system was far less compatible with the doom 2 editor, ADE2. I'm glad I did this honestly because I liked the idea of having seperate episodes. There was no story and really not much in the realm of new graphics. I did change the status bar for Chambers 3 and redo all of the "WILV" level title graphics across all three megawads.

My target audience at the time were my much younger siblings. They were super young and had learning disabilities, but thought doom was cool and wanted to try it out. The levels of the actual doom were a bit difficult for them to understand and remember, so this worked. Every level was the same, and also every level was pretty brief. I also put in god mode for them of course, so they didn't have to keep replaying the same levels over and over again.

Here are the original jank-ass first editions:

CHAMBERS OF DEATH 1
CHAMBERS OF DEATH 2
CHAMBERS OF DEATH 3
